are talking, too…
Rob’s client list is an impressive collection of companies, educational institutes and associations, all with one thing in common: the desire to ensure better communication – for their organizations as a whole, as well as for each of their individual members, whether they are students, staff or co-workers.
From re-working my resume and how I viewed my strengths to coaching me on interviewing and job offer negotiations, his help has been invaluable. Rob was able to organize and craft my complicated background into a compelling story via my resume. I got more responses from my new resume in the first 3 weeks than I had in the prior 6 months with my old resume.
I found Rob Sullivan’s course”Unlocking the Hidden Value of Your Story” very helpful because it strips preparation for a job interview down to the bare essentials—good advice that revolves around basic core interviewing fundamentals and PRACTICE! After reading through seemingly endless material that can unnecessarily go too deep into subject matter that doesn’t even come up most of the times, Rob Sullivan’s advice resonated the most with me—be yourself, be honest, tell your story. These are some of the essentials you will learn working through Rob’s interviewing course–advice and strategies you will find yourself repeating when you are sitting outside the interviewer’s office! My advice to anyone about to embark on this journey or in the middle of it, is to remember that it is not as complex as you may think—remember the basics, practice, and seek CONFLICTING ADVICE. You may not want to hear it, but it’s the only thing that makes you better. Keep it simple and practice—case closed!
